Hi, a very warm welcome to the UK sailors' premier resource for finding UK Sailing sites on the web.

We are very pleased to introduce a new NEWS section to the UK Sailing Index. Sourced from the well-respected Scuttlebutt newsletter, UK Sailing Index News is an authoritative digest of news from the world of sailing, with a European emphasis. Better still, our news pages are updated EVERY WEEKDAY!

In one of our most exciting development to date, we have begun the process of re-categorising EVERY site in the index. This is to enable a new second level categorisation to help you find the site you are interested in. Already the Chandlery, Clubs, Boat Builders and Brokers sections have gone over to the new format and there will be more to follow.

If you feel your site has not been correctly categorised then please let us know.

The new section pages not only list the sub-categories but also highlight featured sites. These may be selected by merit. Alternatively, payment of a small fee to UK Sailing Index will secure greater exposure for your web site. Find out more about Featured Sites.

An additional weather service has recently been added to the Weather section. The NOWCAST from XC Weather gives wind speeds and directions all over the country. Originated for cross country gliding, the site is also a valuable information source for sailors
